Am I the A-hole for expecting my friends to always help me with chores?

My roommates and I have been living together for about a year. We've made a pretty good agreement where we each take turns doing the laundry, but lately, it feels like I'm always the one handling the work. Last week, my friend just didn't care to do their turn. I got really upset because they just left it for me. I told them that it was inconsiderate, and they got defensive. Now, they're saying I'm making a big deal out of nothing. Am I really the asshole here?

Should I find new roommates?
